Father Lucas Tomson

Father Lucas Tomson is a priest of the Diocese of Spokane. After earning degrees in philosophy from Whitworth University (2003) and theology from The Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Urbe, the Angelicum (2006), he studied early Christianity at the Patristic Institute, the Augustinianum (2007) in Rome. This is where he received his licentiate. Fr. Tomson has served as parochial vicar of Assumption Parish and teacher at DeSales High School in Walla Walla (2007-2009), as well as parocial vicar of Assumption Parish in Spokane (2009-2010). He most recently served as pastor of Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Okanogan (2010-2015). In addition to his appointment as pastor of St. Thomas More Catholic Student Center at Washington State University, Fr. Tomson is working on his doctorate in St. Augustine.
