Hope in the Midst of Persecution and Tragedy
Episode 308 · May 10th, 2019 · 28 mins 6 secs
About this Episode
Join Bishop Daly and the vicars as they discuss tragedy and persecution. From the recent tragic fire at Notre Dame to the terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka, Christians experience suffering and persecution. With the visual images we see on the news, loss can seem all around us even if we are secure in our own communities. We as Christians are called to have hope knowing that, "the people [of God] will not be defeated because Christ is not defeated." In Christ, we know the victory is won, and in His cross, we can have hope.
Join Bishop Thomas Daly, Fr. Darrin Connall (Vicar General), Fr. Brian Mee (Vicar for Finance), and Fr. Pat Kerst (Vicar for Priests) as they talk about faith, life, and challenging issues of the day; always keeping in mind the joy our faith inspires.
